The Truth About Change

In order to change, you basically have to change the program you’re running.

You see, through the years and experiences and meanings that you’ve pulled from the experiences, you’ve developed patterns.  These patterns are the program that is the person that you are.  In other words, you’re a computer that is stuck with the same operating system and programs that were installed many years ago.

So that’s why when you keep running the same program you get the same results.  For example, you try to loose weight and unless you change the programming on the inside then any result you may experience on the outside will only be temporary.

It’s kind of like a room who’s thermometer is set at 70 degrees.  If for some reason, someone opens the window and it’s cold outside, the room temperature is going to drop but the furnace will eventually kick in and the room will return to 70 degrees.  If on the other hand, someone opens the window and it’s hot outside, the room temperature will go up but the air conditioner will eventually kick in and the room temperature will return to 70 degrees.

So whatever your thermometer is set at for in any given situation, that is your programming.  So in order to make changes you have to change the programming.

Now here’s the inherent problem with all of this.  As Einstein once said, you can’t solve the problem with the same brain that created it.  What he meant was that, this program that your are, the habits that you have, well they created the program that you are, the habits that you have.  If you want to make changes, it’s like asking the thermostat to change itself.  It can’t.  And theoretically you can’t change either.

But the great thing about being human is that we’re not just thermostats.  One for sure way to change is making little changes, one step at a time.  You can change part of the programming, like changing or upgrading some of the programs on your computer.  Eventually, you’ll start noticing the big changes.

So choose 3 small things that you can do today and do them.  One small step for [insert your name here].

On an ongoing basis, try to step outside of yourself.  This can be done through meditation.  This is when you allow yourself to be the observer.  You are able to strip away the human part of you and allow the spirit part of you to manifest.

That’s it for now.

Peace and love,
Elle

Bob Proctor is such an amazing man. Between him and the NLP I learned from Tad James I feel like they’ve really changed my life.

You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view
