Today's Topic - QUOTE: Optical Delusion
(Quotes are capsules of information, reinforcement or enlightenment.)

"A human being is a part of the whole, called by us
'Universe,' a part limited in time and space.

He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings
as something separated from the rest - a kind of
optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion
is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our
personal desires and to affection for a few persons
nearest to us.

Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison
by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all
living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the
striving for such achievement is in itself a part of
the liberation and a foundation for inner security."

Albert Einstein

Coaching Point: Optical delusion? Separated? Compassion? Inner
security? Oh, Albert, what have you made us think about now?

I just made a change to the BOY page on Facebook. You can view it (if you’re on Facebook) at http://www.facebook.com/boymovie. In case you’re not, here it is…

Children are the greatest casualties of war.

Hi! I’m Elle de Champagne and I’m the producer/writer/director of BOY. This is a story that is extremely close to my heart.

Since an early age, I was traumatized by my father’s stories and childhood memories as a victim of war. He was one of the many child-victims that lived and witnessed so much atrocity.

Unfortunately, the stories continue to this day. According to UNICEF, in the past decade over 2,000,000 children have died as a direct result of armed conflict!

We have got to band together to bring an end to these atrocities.

There have been many inspiring people over the years who have been extremely outspoken against war and who have helped to transform the outlook of many.

Two in particular are Martin Luther King Jr. and Mother Teresa.

Mother Teresa once said that she would never participate in any anti-war demonstration but would always be willing to go to a pro-peace rally. What she meant was that…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
in order to end war you need to focus on creating peace.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Similarly, Martin Luther King Jr. believed that…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the only way to end hatred was with love.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We need to stoke the fires that Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr. and countless others have built and BOY will do this for us.

Boy is the inspiring story of an 8 year-old boy who gains the insight to bring peace to his world in spite of struggling to survive war and the wrath of a heartless soldier. This story inspires us all to take a step towards creating peace in our lives thus moving the world towards peace.

We need your help to produce this film. This will be our way to help to end the pain that MILLIONS of children suffer.

Here’s how YOU can help make a difference NOW!

(1) Make sure you ‘Like’ this page in order to raise the awareness of BOY. Together we can help BOY deliver it’s message…

IT’S TIME TO MAKE A GIANT LEAP TOWARDS PEACE.

(2) Be sure to sign-up for our mailing list on the left beside the BOY logo to keep up to date on the production of BOY and to keep stoking the fire of this project and it’s message (this is also available on the BOY website – see below).

(3) If you can, please make a donation to the production. Go to http://wwwindiegogo.com/boy.

Together we WILL make a difference.

Peace and love

ps – We invite you to find out more by visiting the BOY website at http://www.boy-themovie.com

That's using the
outside, their reactions, to define you.

Fail to fit in because it would be inauthentic for you to
do anything else! That comes from a place so deep
inside you that you may not have even seen it before.

If "they" don't like it when you fail to fit in, you may be
planted in the wrong place.

We don't need you to fit in. We need you to inspire us.
To show us what we're capable of, too.

Coaching Point: Where, recently, have you failed to fit in?

YOU ARE FREE TO FORWARD THIS.

Here's another great 3 minutes from Steve that I felt compelled to share. Enjoy!!!

__________________________________________________________

...S T E V E ' S....3 - M I N U T E....C O A C H I N G
Steve Straus - Coach Subscribers: 1600+ Readers: 3200+ 13APR11
__________________________________________________________

Today's Topic - PRINCIPLE: Allow
(Principles are basic truths that, when applied,
cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

(3rd in a series of 5)

You might think allowing is easy. There is plenty of
evidence to the contrary.

Allowing is about getting you out of the way.

It's so easy to think that you, and you alone, cause
all of your outcomes to occur. "If it is to be, it's up
to me" was a popular saying a few years ago. Well it is
up to you...to ask and then release it. To allow, not
to make happen. This is a big deal. Allowing is about
not doing, and we so want to do!

Allowing is about trusting. And about abundance.
And about desire.

Allowing follows asking. After you ask, allowing is
opening the door to allow what you have asked for
to come in. But you may have barriers to allowing.

Some common barriers are, "I must earn what comes
to me." "I don't really deserve what I've asked for."
"I asked for more than I believe is possible." "If all of
what I asked for really does come, I'll be overwhelmed."

You will want to discover and resolve all your barriers
to allowing. There, that will give you plenty to do!

Coaching Point: Are you really throwing the door
wide open to allow what you ask for to come in?

YOU ARE FREE TO FORWARD THIS.
Today's Topic - PRINCIPLE: Farce
(Principles are basic truths that, when applied,
cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

"May the Farce be with you." Huh?

In the Star Wars movies the line is, "May the Force be
with you." The movie line refers to some unseen, powerful,
prevailing resource available to help you have your life
be better. Whether you agree with that or not, there is
another undeniable force at work in your life. It is also
unseen, powerful, and prevailing, and it affects your life
at least as much as the Force.

It is the stories you've made up that are not true. Self-
limiting beliefs like:
"I can't." "That's scary." "I'm afraid." "I don't know how."

These stories -- these farces -- keep you imprisoned.
These stories keep you from experiencing all that you
really are, from performing optimally, from enjoying the
full expression of your life.

In the artistic world a farce includes an element of comedy,
but you are probably not laughing at your self-limiting
stories and certainly not at the results of them.

May the Farce be with you? No. It's may the Farce
NOT be with you!

Look into your stories. Resolve them. Break free from
the Farce.

Coaching Point: What is one story you're telling
yourself right now that just simply is not true?

Today's Topic - PRINCIPLE: Second Aid
(Principles are basic truths that, when applied,
cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

Every Boy Scout and Girl Scout knows about first aid.
A 1948 printing of the Boy Scout Manual states that
first aid is "the emergency care given to anyone who
is badly hurt or who is taken suddenly sick. It is also
the immediate care that is necessary to prevent slight
injuries from becoming much more serious." Many
people are trained and prepared to administer first aid
in an emergency situation.

But what of second aid? The term sounds jarring
because we don't use it, certainly not often. Second
aid is what happens after the immediate crisis is over,
whether in a medical, life-threatening situation or in
our everyday living.

Do you have a good ability to jump in and handle sudden
situations in your business, family, community, and
spiritual life? Are you good at first aid? Many people
are quite good at fixing things, moving from problem
to problem "putting splints on the breaks" if you will.

How is your follow-up, your second aid? Do you look
for the core reasons underlying the just-solved problem?
Do you create permanent solutions? Do you even
enjoy permanent solutions or, instead, get your
satisfaction from attacking the next problem?

There is no right or wrong here, there is only
understanding how you show up and the results you're
getting. If you're not interested in second aid,
surround yourself with resources which will provide
it. If you do like to create permanent solutions,
then enjoy doing that.

Self-awareness is the key.

Coaching Point: Who is the provider of second aid in
your life?

Today's Topic - PRINCIPLE: Raising Rocks
(Principles are basic truths that, when applied,
cause success to come to you easier and quicker.)

The old saying is that "a rising tide raises all boats."
While that's true enough, it has also been pointed out
that a rising tide won't raise rocks!

The environments you create, and participate in, can
elevate you and those around you. But there are some
people who are resistant to having their life be better.

Don't bother trying to raise the rocks. You've got plenty
of others who will enjoy sailing away with you.

Coaching Point: Who comes to mind first?

A couple of years back I read a book by Ester and Jerry Hicks called Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires.

Actually, I’m going to take a step back because the story behind me getting this book is so interesting and I love to tell it.

A few years back, I was taking some courses through Peak Potentials Training. I highly recommend their courses. One of the courses in particular is called The Enlightened Warrior Training Camp. It’s a course on how to “tap into your higher self and unleash your full capacity for success and happiness”. I highly recommend.

The sister camp to Warrior is called The Wizard Training Camp which is all about manifesting. I really wanted to take the course along with my fellow Warriors with whom I had become very close. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to at the time. However, during any course that you take with Peak Potentials, they provide a sheet of affirmations that I love reading out loud every morning. It keeps you in the groove. So I asked my fellow warriors if they would provide me with the list when they got back. The thing is, we are sworn during these camps not to divulge any information to others in order for the new people taking the camps to have a full experience when they do take the camp.

I knew this but was not satisfied with this answer. I wanted to become a Wizard without delay. So the next morning I woke up absolutely determined to become a Wizard, with or without the affirmations or the courses, and I stated it out loud.

That evening I came home to a FedEx box that was delivered to my front door. It was from my friend Anneloes in Holland. Inside the box was a copy of Ask and It Is Given! No word of a lie and also my friend had no idea about my desire. She just sent me the book because she thought I would like it and I just happen to get it on the same day that I stated I would become a Wizard no matter what! It was my most amazing experience of manifesting so far!

This book is so amazing. It spoke to me like no other book had done before. It answered some questions that I had been asking for a long time.

It also has some great exercises that teach you about manifesting, because it’s all a state of mind. One of these exercises is the $1000/day exercise. What you do is, on paper, you deposit $1000 into your account. Then you have to spend that $1000 in the same day, on whatever you want. The only thing you shouldn’t use this money for is paying bills because what you focus on is what you get. Then, every day after you increase the amount that you have to spend by $1000. So that means the next day you spend $2000 and the day after $3000 and so on. When you get to a year, you have to spend $365,000 in a day!

Now you might think that this is easy. Well at least that is what I thought at first. And to tell you the truth, at first it was easy. But then I got to about $16,000 and it started getting hard. It got a little easier at the low 20′s because I started buying cars but then you run out of cars that you want.

I’ve been doing this for a year and a half and tomorrow is the day that I reach $500,000!

Obviously, I love this exercise and I recommend you give it a try. You might not last as long as I have but it will open your eyes to possibilities!

Enjoy!

Peace and love,

Elle
